What a terrible story this is.

The saving grace - if such a thing is possible in this spot - is that his family are helping all they can and don't see him as a burden. Fair play to guys like David Moyes, too.

What a cruel illness - his mind & brain function completely normally, but he is totally paralysed except for eyes & eyelids.

Remember there was a big right to die case brought by a guy suffering from this.

He wanted to be allowed to commit suicide, but the courts ruled against it.

Can't even begin to imagine.
