So if a player has 50% equity in a $100 pot, they can take $49.50 there and then rather than run out the board. If one player chooses this new option and the other does not, the player who has not chosen it plays the remainder of the hand against PokerStars, who keep the money if they win.

Seems fair if poker stars are going to pay you if you win for them to take your money if they win.

What happens if PokerStars go on a massive downswing?

Yes, what a lovely 3 way coup that was.

I don't really know much about this event, and who or what Triton are, but have to say, the quality and production values of the stream (which I watched free of charge on You Tube) was absolutely superb, best quality I can recall in many a year. Commentary was very good too.

Sam Trickett's river play v Chidwick was fun

3 handed

all check flop and turn including Stephen with the flopped flush

River Trickett bet small, Kenney raise as a bluff, Chidwick flat, Trickett...

https://twitter.com/partypokerlive/status/1156986271241314304?s=20

lots of clips on that account over the three days of the tournament

Oooh, Justin Bonomo got an invite in the end.   Suspect more layers than backers of that one.

Did the "businessmen" pay $2M each -  for their own entry plus the invited pro?

The prizepool suggests $1M per player

Are you saying the pros paid themselves in?

No pro has more than 50% of themselves. That was stated publically

I'm just trying to clarify if the pros had to pay their own entry or if the businessmen paid for their invited pros.
