No pro has more than 50% of themselves. That was stated publically
I'm just trying to clarify if the pros had to pay their own entry or if the businessmen paid for their invited pros.
Pro's rarely have much of themselves in SHR comps.
Businessmen most likely had pieces of them, though.

I had assumed that most if not all of the pros were freerolling for ~10%

Here's the chip counts heading into today;
1 – Timothy Adams, Canada, 5.735 million
2 – Bryn Kenney, USA, 5.54 million
3 – Alfred DeCarolis, USA, 5.455 million
5 – Vivek Rajkumar, India, 18 million
6 – Bill Perkins, USA, 2 million
7 – Stephen Chidwick, UK, 9.79 million
8 – Dan Smith, USA, 2.35 million
9 – Aaron Zang, China, 5.06 million
The chip leader seems to be based in Seattle. Here's his THM:

And his Wiki page;

Here's how the Triton thing ended;
Aaron Zang (China) £19,000,000
Bryn Kenney (United States) £11,670,000
Dan Smith (United States) £7,200,000
Stephen Chidwick (United Kingdom) £4,410,000
Vivek Rajkumar (India) £3,000,000
Bill Perkins (United States) £2,200,000
Al DeCarolis (United States) £1,720,000
Timothy Adams (Canada) £1,400,000
*Chop agreements not included.
Although note;
Hendon Mob will show Kenney won £11,670,000 and Zang earned £19,000,000. But Liv Boeree announced on the post-game live-stream that a chop was made during heads-up play. Kenney actually received the biggest cut (£16.8 million). But Zang, who also added to his wealth, received the shiny gold trophy.

Players had to dress up, & follow certain rules, though Kenney declined to wear a suit, so presumably the "dress rule" was not enforceable.
Players will not be allowed to cover any part of their body from the neck up. This includes, but is not limited to, wearing scarves, funnel neck sweatshirts, turtle neck jumpers, hats/caps. The only exception will be made for sunglasses and hats that do not cover/hide any part of the face at any time due to stage lighting. Hoodies are not recommended to follow the rules above. A formal suit will be required to be worn at the Final Table (9 players remaining).

Don't know who the official "winner" was, (Mr Zang presumably?) but here's the 1st & 2nd.

Partypoker have been covering this event all week on their main Twitch channel and tonight is our last night before we move on to something new we are trying tomorrow night with one of our pro streamers.
We are covering Event #7 the £100k Short deck Main Event, it's available on a few other outlets as well as PPTV.
I've never played Short Deck but it's pretty action packed.

Pros had to pay themselves.
Pros divulged the % they had to the organisers, biggest piece was 50%, in theory a pro could have had 100% I believe, don't believe there was any stipulation.
I suspect that the businessman who invited them would have had first option for a sizeable chunk of action in practice.

On twitter Rob Yong said
Yes - most of time Pro normally allows VIP to buy a piece at no mark up or maybe offers small 1-5% freeroll

This is an interesting one, mainly for the replies, some of which can't be serious, but are.
I'm so glad it all panned out OK in the end for Simon, if he was ever shown to be a wrong 'un, it would be too much to bear. Does seem rather odd that given the nefarious nature of many of those who inhabit Casinos & high cost poker tournaments that their suspicions should alight on Simon of all people.

Compensation? A gracious apology & a free meal is more than enough, some of the guys replying have somewhat ambitious expectations.

I would probably laugh about it, and say whoever fked it up can pay for my dinner at the best restaurant in the hotel.
If I was staying at the hotel then 'I hope my room is comped now, too?'.
