I would probably laugh about it, and say whoever fked it up can pay for my dinner at the best restaurant in the hotel.

If I was staying at the hotel then 'I hope my room is comped now, too?'.

Yup, feels about right.

This is an interesting one, mainly for the replies, some of which can't be serious, but are.

I'm so glad it all panned out OK in the end for Simon, if he was ever shown to be a wrong 'un, it would be too much to bear. Does seem rather odd that given the nefarious nature of many of those who inhabit Casinos & high cost poker tournaments that their suspicions should alight on Simon of all people.

Compensation? A gracious apology & a free meal is more than enough, some of the guys replying have somewhat ambitious expectations.

How can that be enough?   Surely the EV of his chips whilst blinded out is a start point.  Then plus a bit more for the hassle/heavy handedness (say extra 50%).   Hard to say what that is without blind info.  Could be price of a meal/hotel night or buyin depending on the level.  If he can't get right in 10 minutes after a 20 minute dusturbance, he needs to work on his mental game (general point and not specific to Simon who has always been pleasant).

FWIW he got some serious heavyweight replies, so maybe they have higher expectations than us riff-raff.

It looks like Simon got the result he was looking for, though he is so far being a little coy as to what it was.

So they have offered me $1M USD in compensation for yesterday. Lol JK. but they did offer me what I believe is adequate compensation so thanks to
@shrpo @HardRockHolly and @TDTonyB for apologising and dealing with this situation quickly and fairly.

Serves him right for asking the internet for advice.

Yes please Tighty. I watched a couple on Twitter this morning, including the Sam Grafton one & the Kristen hand, but would prefer to see them on here.
