The ups and downs of a season of MCQ have been fully demonstrated after only 6 of the 17 players answered correctly on one of the trickier questions. Arsenal are clearly struggling defensively for Leno to be up there.

degston77 took advantage of a minor slip up by Rubbish2407 and now sits clear in 2nd, only 1pt behind. KarmaDope scored zero and is now in 3rd. Defending champion Archer has produced a miraculous recovery from an early season spot in the bottom 5 and it could be argued that he has a real chance of becoming a two time champion, although with only 4 questions remaining it would require a lot of things to go his way. stribling makes up the top 5, with an incorrect answer dropping TightEnd back out of the top 5 after a brief visit.

Juperjiper now leads the chasing pack and sits equal on 21pts with stribling and we then see a group of 5 players on 20pts. One of those players is ForthThistle who, with 8pts out of the last 10, is now amazingly only 1pt away from a top 5 spot after looking initially like a banker for a bottom 5 spot.

In the bottom 5 it is a surprise to see 4KSuited down there after his 3rd place in season and 12/1 pre-competition pricing and he is two points from safety. In fact, Ironside, last placed in season 1, has now leaped ahead of him and with 2 questions correct in a row has a real chance of escaping the bottom 5. Pokerpops has reduced his deficit at the bottom to a single point.

Has degston77 handed the title to Rubbish2407? A wrong answer has allowed Rubbish to open up a 3pt lead and is now big odds on to secure the title in his debut season. KarmaDope joins degston77 on 25pts. Archer has suffered the curse of the post-question talking up and instantly blows any chance of pulling off the surprise victory. He sits on 22pts in 4th place whilst ForthThistle sits in 10th place on the same amount of points and we are in for an exciting climax to the season. Karabiner, TightEnd and Dacorb are amongst those also on 22pts.

The bottom 5 look resigned to their fate, although Ironside still has an outside chance of escaping, and Pokerpops upturn in form has dragged arbboy, 4KSuited and Alverton in to a real battle to avoid bottom spot.

Rubbish2407 now has a 4 point lead at the top with only 2 questions to go meaning although he has not mathematically won the title it will take a dramatic set of results for him to not claim the title and land a few bets at 20/1. degston77 and KarmaDope are tied for 2nd on 26pts. Archer and Juperjiper make up the top 5, both on 24pts. However, their places in the top 5 are far from guaranteed with Dacorb and Karabiner also sitting on 24pts.

stribling took a big hit with his 1pt answer and dropped out of the top 5 all the way down to 11th but is only a point away from getting his place back. He's joined on 23pts by TightEnd and ForthThistle who both slipped up with 1pt. bergeroo is also on 23pts after a correct answer.

Pokerpops has almost completed the great escape from bottom spot and is now tied on 18pts with 3 other players.
