Perhaps a little harsh question, given the closeness of the top two answers. Only one poor soul going for the Owen/Woodgate mix, one guess as to who that was as for the second time in 6 questions Ironside is the only person to score 0pts.

It has taken 6 questions but we now have a clear leader for the first time and it is KarmaDope who sits top on 12pts following stribling's slight slip up. KarmaDope finished 7th in season 1 but has started strongly here and is the inplay favourite at Hatbrokes. degston77 lost his top 5 place to Rubbish2407 and degston77's season so far has taken a similar route to season 1.

The middle bunch are all tightly packed together with one point between the 7 players and still plenty of time for them to push in to the top and contest the title. arbboy was one of only 5 to identify Beckham as the correct answer and that has left him tied with the likes of TightEnd and Alverton.

ForthThistle got his second correct answer of the season and that was enough to move him off the bottom of the table with Ironside and Pokerpops joint at the bottom on 5pts. Archer may have been a rick in the latest prices from Hatbrokes but he does only have 2 correct answers so far and is 3pts off the top 5.

Question 7 saw lot of movement in the table with players split between Fabregas and Song with those being worth 2pts and 0pts respectively. Impressively, Ironside was the only player to answer Henry and he's now had his own answer for three of the seven questions.

KarmaDope kept up his 100% start to the season and this quiz is starting to resemble the last quiz I ran where KarmaDope absolutely smashed it - can he be stopped? Well, stribling isn't going anywhere and the player who finished 12th in season 1 is only one point back. There was a change to the top 5 as Karabiner and degston77 both leaped back in after brief breaks. Incorrect answers from bergeroo and Juperjiper meant that not only did they drop out the top 5 they tumbled down 5 places each, although they are only 1pt away from the top 5.

Dacorb has been extremely solid so far with 5 of 7 correct and is now tied for a place in the top 5, as is 4KSuited (22/1) who could be a sleeper in the competition having finished 3rd last time out.

Pokerpops is now alone at the bottom of the table after Ironside scored 1pt but it is now 2 questions correct in a row for ForthThistle who is now tied for a place outside the bottom 5. TightEnd and arbboy who both finished in the bottom 5 in season 1 now find themselves in the bottom 5 this season for the first time.

Alverton has 3 incorrect answers in a row and is now in danger of dropping in to the bottom 5 which no one would have predicted given his 4th place finish last season.

In what felt like a tricky question, 15 of 17 players answered correctly meaning little change to the table. stribling, who was one of the two to answer wrongly, moves from 2nd to 6th and exits the top 5 for the first time. 4KSuited's title aspirations took a massive blow as he dropped down to 11th.

You'd be mistaken for thinking it was 8pm on a Thursday but the noise was simply the cheers around the country when KarmaDope answered incorrectly and it has definitely opened up the competition.

KarmaDope's incorrect answer didn't shift him from the top spot but he is now joined up there by Rubbish2407 on 16pts. They have very little breathing room however as Karabiner, degston77 and Dacorb are all only a single point back. Dacorb has had little mention and is going about his business quietly but he looks likely to improve on his 10th place finish from season 1.

The Scottish based question clearly threw a few off but not Ironside who was certain with his answer and whilst it didn't move him out of the bottom 5 he is now only 1pt away from doing so. Pokerpops is having a torrid time and is now 3pts adrift of the nearest player. Another player showing some form is ForthThistle and he is now tied on points with those outside the bottom 5 and can now look to push on. TightEnd took a big jump out of the bottom 5 and can now set his sights on the top 5.
