Hoping someone can help with the name of a film, I’m trying to track down.

It was set in the medieval period, possibly to do with the War of The Roses.

In the film there are two different fractions, one represented by a white rose the other by a red rose.

They are enemies and at war with each other.

Pretty sure there is a scene with a lady trying to escape, cutting her hair short to disguise herself as a man before riding off on a horse.

It would have been made in the 70s or 80s.

Thanks

I once saw a film where a fella went to live with his girlfriend's family in rural America. The girls Dad decided to inject him with hormones or whatever from a snake, so that over time he slowly turned into a snake. One day the girl walked into the barn and there he was. 75% snake pleading for help. Nobody I've ever met has seen or heard of this film. Anyone seen it?

It's absolutely rubbish, so definitely don't watch it. It only ever really crops up when there's a discussion about 'worst films'. Might make you laugh though I suppose.

But thanks for identifying the film btw. The wikipedia description actually makes it sound even worse than it is.

Plan 9 From Outer Space is reputedly high on the list of worst ever films. So bad that it became something of a cult classic. Johnny Depp played the director in the 1995 biopic Ed Wood, adding a further layer of respectability to something akin to The Creature From the Black Lagoon in quality terms.

Beauty/ugliness being in the eye of the beholder, of course. Truly one of the worst films known to man was Mad Dogs and Englishmen, starring Hugh Grant’s squeeze. I won’t link it here in case you’re tempted to look. Don’t, you’ll never get the 90 minutes back.

The remake of House on Haunted Hill, with Geoffrey Rush, is the worst film I've ever seen.
The most disappointing ending was actually Philadelphia. In many ways a very good film, but so unrealistic that the Jason Robards character would spontaneously turn from a professional lawyer into a bigot in the dock, shouting 'READ YOUR BIBLE!!' Absolute gibberish really.
