At the halfway stage we have a clear leading pack as the top 3 have broken away with a 3pt lead over the rest. TightEnd has 5 in a row correct and is the form player of the 3. Archer and Dacorb have successfully grabbed places in the top 6 for the first time this season with Dacorb's story being the most entertaining having been in the bottom 6 after 4 questions but has 6 correct in a row to show that last season's form was no fluke. degston77 completes the top 6 on 13pts, 4 behind the leaders.
4KSuited and Doobs drop 7 places each out of the top 6 with 4KSuited shooting himself in the foot by answering France when they were not one of the options. They sit on 12pts, along with 4 others. stribling is on 13pts, tied with degston77 who sits inside the top 6. Rubbish2407 is one of those on 12pts and the defending champion has made a miraculous turnaround to sit one point outside the top 6.
Juperjiper ended his incorrect streak at 9 to give himself a fighting chance of escaping the bottom 6. arbboy, superwomble and nirvana have also been fixtures in the bottom 6 throughout the first half of the season and they are joined by Alverton and Ricardov83. Ricardov83 made a promising start but now has 5 wrong in a row.

The second half of the season starts off badly for table topper and bookies' favourite Tal who zero points it to leave TightEnd and kp24 2pts clear at the top. He still has a 2pt lead over the other three in the top 6 who all sit on 15pts. Dacorb is amongst them but his run of correct answers came to an end on this question. celtic, 4KSuited and Archer all sit on 14pts, one point outside the top 6.
At the other end of the table it looks to have tightened up somewhat with the likes of Pokerpops and ForthThistle now pulled in to the battle. Juperjiper remains at the bottom.
