when the board pairs and with the hand being on the internet (yes, i am still suspicious) you can think about slowing down or against a respectable player you may even fold but against King of The At-it merchants - Monsieur Bradley - i fear folding is not an option with any semblence of a holding.
as tighty says - well and truly cold decked.

Tom, any chance of giving chip stacks, blinds etc. Also how big was the all in bet?
On the info given I feel you were a little hasty to move all your chips in. You only geeting a call from Ian if you are beat. Like I said though Id like a little more info. Also Ians position in relation to the button
ps did u get a seat at Walsall?

Tom had limped UTG i lmped from mid position... both have 3000 in chips and the blinds are low 20/40 i think.
BB comes out and bets 40 tom makes it 120 and i flat call.
Turn comes a 2... He makes it 150 and i min raise to 300.
He moves allin for the rest of his chips...
It was within the first few hands of the $250 freeze on lads, i think it is tough to get away from, probably would'nt have moved allin then though... probably on the river lol

Well I think you played the hand very well,
When Tom has raised on the flop and you call, he must now try and put you on a hand.
You limping and calling his re raise should of sent a message to him telling him you have something to do with the board. I dont like the idea of going all in to find out where hes at. You are only going to call if you have him strangled. Far to early to commit your whole stack when you could be drawing dead.
IMHO he should have tried to find out a lot cheaper, I wouldnt like to put my whole stack in on a paired board with only a straight especially at those blind levels. Plenty of time for better oputunities to get Mr AT- IT .
But dont let that detract from how well Ian played his hand.
ps Hes my tip for the top.

Thanks craig... you'll make me blush!
I don't like his allin raise, but it is tuff to get away from! He probably has to call any bet i make on the river!
You at broadway this week? i'm thinking about coming down...

The point is, even if Ai-It does NOT make the fully, he probably calls Tom's All-In anyway......

No craig, I didn't get a seat, I had above avarage chips with 24 players left when I picked up AA in early position
I made a small raise, someone with slightly less chips than me pushed all in with 99 and spiked his winner on the river

I disagree Tikay, The blinds are so low I dont think Ian would commit all his stack without at least the straight.
Remember this is calling all your stack not betting it by Ian.
Like I said Tom is only getting called if he s beat or possibly spiltting it IMHO
Dont forget the all in was a massive overbet too.
Unlucky Tom, theres a few more chances for a seat left. Do you know who got a seat?
