pundits have said for years its all about trophies but it really isn't . Chelski are more than happy being top 4 and losing in the cup final.  It's amazing how these 6 figure a year pundits keep talking such nonsense to suit their own angle.

Perhaps depends on the club,

Chels are serious contenders for the ECL as are City and Liverpool and I reckon any of these 3 would prefer top 4 over an FA cup - fans, owners and manager.

Respectfully, Lester aren't serious contenders for the ECL just yet so be interesting how they would view it. Probs fans go for FA cup, manager for Top 4 and owners , dunno. As an Arse fan, I'd deffo take an FA cup over top 4 even though the cup doesn't mean any where near as much as it once did, Literally zero chance of winning the ECL so who cares but imagine owners and manager would want top 4 ahead of cup.

SUre I could have found a shorter way to say that.

Can't agree.  Given that Leicester have never won the FA cup before, I am pretty sure Leicester fans are going to be happy with the Cup win and the Chelsea board will be happier with top 4.  Chelsea have had a lot more recent success, so their fans will probably see things differently to Leicester fans.  For instance, your average Chelsea fan will expect more from a Champion's League campaign than the average Leicester fan, so is likely to put more value on the top 4 position.

As a Bradford fan I'd be happy with sneaking in the league 2 play offs.  That league cup campaign was brilliant even if we got thumped 5-0 in the final.

Heart says FA Cup

Head/Money says top 4

All about the ££££££££ now unfortunately. Actually winning something seems more and more irrelevant.

Yeah this. We've all been brainwashed. Sad.

The only good thing about Arsenal's top4 trophy days were the final match hilarities with Sp*rs. Everything else surrounding it was cack.

FA Cup wins were the joy of fandom.
