Stu Rutter WSOP Europe 2023 package, selling at 1.07

Hi all,

I will be playing at the WSOP Europe, at King's Casino, Rozvadov, from Sunday 5th November, til the Main Event, which begins Friday 10th November

It is a mix of three holdem events, one 8-game mix, one PLO, and the Main Event. I played a schedule at the WSOPE in 2021, and it is a mixed field, which comes out fairly nicely overall. Some superstars, obviously, although the random location puts many off, and so a bigger middle group of Euro semi-regs, and then a bunch of recreational players. They come largely from Germany, funnily enough, as the casino actually have more of a local German feel than Czech Republic.

I have decided to charge a mark up of 1.07, to cover the need to stay at King's (other hotels are mainly over the border in Germany!), the fees of wiring money, and the slightly complicated transfer from Munich airport.

Please note: Some days updates may be slightly limited, as it was at this event in 2021 that I was alerted to the potential problem of people reading the updates during play.

Full schedule

Sunday 5th November- 5000 EUR PLO Event, with one potential rebuy.  (Potential total: 10,000 EUR)

Monday 6th November- 1650 EUR Six max no limit holdem, with two rebuys (Potential total: 4950 EUR)

Tuesday 7th November- 1100 EUR Mystery bounty, with one potential rebuy  (Potential total: 2200 EUR)

Wednesday 8th November- 2000 EUR 8-game mix, with two potential rebuys (Potential total: 6000 EUR)

Thursday 9th November: 1100 EUR NL turbo bounty hunter, with one potential rebuy  (Potential total: 2200 EUR)

Friday 10th November: 10,350 EUR No limit holdem MAIN EVENT  (Total: 10,350)

Total initial buy ins: 21,200 EUR

Total re-entries will not exceed: 13,400 EUR

Therefore, total value of package is: 34,600 EUR

Obviously, it is very likely that the full buy-in of 34,600 EUR will not be met, but it is best to keep that as the "value of package." At 1.07, the full package is "worth" 37022 EUR

Prices at 1.07 (rounded down)

1%= 370 EUR
2%= 740 EUR
5%= 1850 EUR
10%= 3700 EUR

and so on

Happy to sell up to 50% of action.

We will use the GBP to EUR exchange rate on the day of you sending, and the EUR to GBP rate on the day of me sending back.

Right, today is the day. We begin with the 4pm CET 5,000 EUR Pot limit Omaha (plus one potential rebuy)

Update note: It was funnily enough at the WSOPE in 2021 that I realised the slight potential danger of updating in detail. Therefore, I will include as much detail as I can, with it still feeling "safe" to do so. Will probably go to just chip counts on any day twos, just as a focus thing.

Right, we are in, at about 450pm.

Transfer from Munich airport. Over the surprisingly insubstantial border. I was expecting checks at the border, but all I saw was Czechs at the border.

 Luxon Pay worked very well, and at the table, with my hotel bags in tow.

Strange field. It always is really is this festival, in this fairly bizarre central European location. I would both say that the average standard looks fairly high, and that I don't recognise a single person.

One looks very Finnish, so presumably he is a genius. Otherwise, mainly I think German and Czech.
