€1650 six max Holdem

Well, that wasn't a pleasant two hours of poker, and it ended in two very nasty rivers.

First, we have 32k at 2kbb and in the big. UTG ships the exact same stack, and has

three diamonds ....

Then, at 34k, UTG1 opens to 5k and we have on the button. It's one the solver will say to flat, but it feels like he's calling a ship with the slightly larger opening size.

He does. Has

. Hmm

. More to fade

Damn. Never mind. Mystery bounty tomorrow.

€1100 Mystery Bounty

Today is the 1.1k Mystery Bounty, and it's actually my first ever one.

They haven't been particularly clear, but the best guess from their schedule is that the bounties come in with 20% od the field left.

Bounties range from €300 to €30,000.

Start delayed by an hour, til 4pm CET, 3pm UK time.

Starting. 30k to start, blinds start 100/100(100)

The 109 runner field, surprisingly and impressively, includes Isildur

€1100 Mystery Bounty

Things happening. Raises to 10x. Gifts flying.

I stand by the belief that adding the word "turbo" or "bounty ' to a poker tournament makes people falsely believe that they should play drastically differently.

A whiff with squeezes that were called 4way with 99 and AJ of hearts. 28k

€1100 Mystery Bounty

We got a nice gift.

Down to 25k, 3bet black offsuit AQ small blind Vs cutoff. Call

Best to size up, he won't fold a Queen. Bet 60%, call

two hearts

Flop call was quick enough that that's not pretty. 1.2x pot left. Has to be right to go for value, and i think the best way to do that is to do it is all in one

All in. Call

Very good news. . Very nice to have no sweat

I can never understand why some players want a sweat. I absolutely love a “no sweat”

€1100 Mystery Bounty

Yuk hmm

Flat   cutoff vs hijack. Heads up

He checks. It feels right for me to go big. Bet 1.5k into 2.6k

He check raises to 5.2k. Hmm. Call

He bets 9.8k into 13.8k

He looks like he's good. That makes a difference.  A poor player may be more likely to just lose-his-mind bluff, but I think a good player actually under Bluffs this.

He presumably will read me to have an Ace alot. And won't expect me to fold an ace.

Feels therefore a relatively comfortable fold

€1100 Mystery Bounty

Nice one

Flat cutoff vs hijack

Call half pot twice on

He checks. I bet 7k into 12k. Lack of turn flush draw helps. He just can't really call QT+ and overpairs

Tank fold

€1100 Mystery Bounty

Down to 19k

UTG2 open to 2.4k, I call on Button, small blind ships for 28k. UTG2 fold

Close. Need 43%. With 28k, he does just about have the squeeze to leave fold equity potential, so I'm going to weight down AA, KK, and probably QQ, a fair bit.

Call. It's right. He has

two hearts

61k river.....

Down to 19 bigs
