Wonder if the WSOP will be moving, with GG agreeing to buy it from Caesars for $500m.

Retain hosting rights for 20 years as part of the deal.

Interesting to see how that plays out.

Have to imagine Daniel will get an even bigger input on the schedules going forward.

If he does every bloody comp will be unlimited re-entry for 2 days.

Not particularly enamoured with this, think those comps in the middle will get squeezed further going forward.  Seems to be too many high rollers and small entry fee multi entry day tournaments already, but think he is a fan of both.

Hate to come across all Allen Kessler, but this can't mean less online bracelets.  In 20 years time how devalued are the bracelets going to be?

Well that didn't take long.

Not sure it will take 20 years...

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

As long as he saves the rebuys for the online Cheesy

Surely still have to feel a live bracelet carries a bit of extra value.

Looked at the satellite for the $215 mystery bounty Hunter and there's not a single proper poker tournament to qualify(ATM). just high turnover games with a massive punting element in them. I understand they generate revenue for the sites but as a recreational player it's very off putting. I may not even play any of this cos I've done well in sat tourneys before and these just do not appeal to me.
