Horse Racing tips scammer on Blonde

Anyone remember the horse racing tips scam on Blonde a few years ago?
The guy went missing in Vegas, was found then blocked all “investors”
Who was it? And roughly how much did they steal?

So did Boldie I think.
Glad he recovered from his terrible mental health issues though.

Do they all turn up at DTD as "anonymous" these days?
Could have both a scammers and murderers team at the next APAT?

Blimey it was much money than I remembered.
Did everyone just swallow? I suppose it wasn’t enough for any single person to get busy about getting a refund
Some names on that list I haven’t seen for a long time.

I suppose it was only when poker got really popular that "staking" became a thing. Before that you just leant someone money in a casino because you felt sorry for them and never expected to be paid back, in fact an old sage, probably long rip now, once said me "Pay me back? I couldn't afford to have him pay me back!"

On the subject of "horse racing scammers" most of you with an interest in such matters will have seen the story about Alistair Campbell's son....

Until speaking to a friend this morning, I had not realised it was the same guy who frequented the UK Poker Circuit back in the day...

And as a complete aside, whilst looking him up on Herbie, I came across this GUKPT event in Brighton which he cashed in. What a line-up that was, real Memory Lane stuff. Very few of those still playing regularly, though a few exceptions including Steve Jelenik who I still see regularly, & maybe 2 or 3 others?

Joe Grech has been in Malta for the past 4 months.
I speak to Rob Garfield regularly , had a decent score a few months live at the Vic, and still plays a fair bit of cash there.
