when stuff like this happens , past history should 100% be listened to and taken into account. no different in principle to a court of law.

i am not making any excuses for what stu did . i have never met him , but have spoken and done lots of stakes over many years.

as mc said , stu is not well. i genuinely believe that . others wont. we are all adults and can come to our own conclusions.

I sent Stuart a PM, after he sent me several complaining about his treatment on the thread and his suicidal thoughts.


For those unaware I have been in a wheelchair since I broke my back in 1990 whilst in the army (entirely my fault), a career I wanted to do from as far back as I can remember. Since then I became diabetic and also broke my neck leaving me in constant pain.
I was Fortunate enough in the early days of blonde to be appointed in the first batch of moderator of the forum, despite not being the most intelligent or articulate member of the boards I have managed to hang around.
My poker playing has stopped since around 2010 apart from the occasional dabble due to my fatigue unable to sit playing online for more than 1 or 2 hours without my eyes closing or traveling
and playing live without the risk of injury due to tiredness.
In the time as a Moderator, we don't as a rule remove threads about anything other than spam as in the most we all behave like adults on the boards, a lot have differing views and the rights to air them on
a PUBLIC forum.
If we do remove them we end up firefighting as people start new threads asking where the thread is (already a thread on the rail as a member cant post on this thread), and send countless PMs calling us Nazis etc.
I  read this forum daily and nearly every post as part of my role as a Moderator. Until recent event came up I knew nothing about the football thing, maybe it was addressed when i was in hospital for an operation without access to "gambling sites". I still don't know
and not really fussed about the details of the staking thing other than it needs to be addressed and kept on record INCASE Stuart ever contemplates asking anyone for staking again publicly or privately.
He had expressed he was going to self exclude from all UK casinos but this did not address Euro and US events. He replied to my PM letting me know he was no longer self excluding from UK casinos

In the broad scheme of things on blonde the football thing and skimming a few £ thousand isn't the end of the world, he hasn't murdered or chopped up any bodies. No one has been harmed apart from in the pocket and all has been returned and Stuart losing a little bit of trust and integrity.

If Stuart or anyone else is feeling suicidal over this or any other issue please talk to someone. Suicide can't be undone and the only people that are hurt are the people you love the most.
