Don't talk to me about golf  Angry

We need to know what happened.

My 3-ball retired after nine holes yesterday due to severely inclement weather.

Well basically I seem to have lost the ability to hit my driver, I'm struggling with my irons, I can't seem to pitch or chip and my putting is a bit dodgy.

I shot 106 on Wednesday.

I only got 1 game in this week due to some playing partners taking inconsiderate holidays and another working away. Shot 102 which was disappointing. I've not used my driver for 2 months Tom, getting more accuracy and similar distance, more consistently with my 3 wood. A couple of 3 putts, 3 off the tee and an oob contributing to my crap round.

Yet to try my new wedges out on the course. Will report back.

For balance...

I think the 106 was Thursday on the very tough Priory.

On Wednesday, at an almost unplayable Rushcliffe (mega-cambered fairways which were as hard as concrete) you shot your best ever Rushcliffe round, 92/34 (46/18 out, 46/16) back). That included a blob at the 1st (both tee-shots lost despite landing plum centre) & a blob at 17, ditto.

On Friday at Moorlands you shot 93/31 (46/16, 47/15). Not your best, but decent.

"I can't seem to pitch"

Holing out from 60 yards for a birdie on the tough 12th (SI 5) at Moorlands on Friday was was quite decent I thought....

It's the mind playing tricks. We remember the bad, & forget the good.

I'm down for the senior medal tomorrow and the forecast is not looking that great either.

I tend to look at 3/4 different weather apps to see if I can find one that I like..
