Yea, i thought it was suppose to be easy as well. I have a alliance leicester visa card. When i tried to withdraw using that. they said that I couldn't withdraw back to that card. So i opened an Neteller card like they suggested and now they won't let my withdraw to that. Pokerstars are so easy to deal with, I wish every other site was the same.

It stems from the days when the 'American' sites wouldn't accept Switch. This is changing now - both Party and Pokerstars allow Switch.
The US players love Neteller, as it allows them to move money around sites. I hate it as I'm used to putting money in and out without having to pay for the privilege.
British players are much better off using Switch (or Maestro or whatever it's called now).

Am I missing something here? People talk about Netller being an easy way to deposit/withdraw
I play on quite a few different sites, and I use my debit card to deposit and withdraw on all of them, what could be easier than that?
Easy enough with the UK sites but many sites won't let you do this. They'll only cash out to debit cards to the extent that you deposited. After that, its a cheque or Neteller!
Things have improved over the last couple of years but there's still a need for Neteller at the moment. Besides, its still worth using for avoiding exchange rate hits when moving dollars from site to site.

Hi - i recently opened a UB account and a month later ive decided i dont like tihe site. I will keep my winnings in but want to transfer my initial stake to Poker Stars.
Presumably Neteller is the best option for doing this rather than withdrawing to my debit and then depositing from my debit to PS.
Do Neteller charge me a fee? And how long does it take to show up in my neteller account?
Thanks

With your ladbrokes account you get a card which can be used to deposit or withdraw cash from the betting shops.
Neteller charge you to deposit or withdraw cash from your account, but its is free to deposit or withdraw to a poker site.
This makes it useful to transfer $ between sites.
Some sites IE Ladbrokes will only allow you to use one source of cash, if you pay in by credit card you have to withdraw back to the same card. This is to stop peeps stealing and draining other peoples accounts.
Some other sites will let you deposit with netteller and withdraw back to your card.

I've just set up a UB account as well so I'd be interested to know how long the first withdrawl takes. there only seem to be 3 options, cheque, neteller or firepay. I would think that Neteller will be the fastest way to get your money onto Stars. What don't you like about UB? I think it's got great software and at my level anyway fairly weak players. I like it so far.

Ladbrokes: if you want to withdraw via neteller and having deposited via your card, simply, go to a table sit with your bankroll, call up ladbrokes customer service and ask them to change your deposit/withdrawal to neteller. Simply done. Neteller is instant from ladbrokes.

Pokerstars: Max deposit you can have via neteller on a weekly basis is $50,000, and $10,000 daily. If you deposit via neteller, and have previously returned all deposits back to your card(ie: you deposited via ur card previously and it was all returned), you can withdraw your winnings and initial deposit back to your card.

It u deposit with cc you have to withdraw by cc. If u deposit by neteller you have to withdraw by neteller.
You can only change your method of payment when your account is empty or withdrawan all funds.

I know so I have a Ladbrokes account setup with my debit card. I wanted to withdraw some cash to neteller but didnt have the option available. I called ladbrokes and they told me if I changed to neteller they would not let me change back to my card afterwards.

Not true Crip. You are a regular on lads and Im surprised you still believe this is true. Its not. Maybe for the vast majority of players, but for all regulars, you can do what you wish.

Celtic .. I am very very surprised. As I said in the previous post, most regulars I know, dont have any problems. If you wanted to overcome it, simply sit at the table with ur full bankroll and call up. Easily done. But what I say is correct for my account and for the close companions I have who play there.
