Carlo Citrone Eliminated in 8th Place ($59,175)

Tony Rila has the button in seat 5, Citrone moves all in for $94,000, and Rila calls. Citrone shows -6c, but Rila has him dominated with pocket aces (As-Ah). The flop comes 10d-5h-2c, and Citrone needs to catch something runner-runner to stay alive. The turn card is the , and Citrone has picked up a gut-shot straight draw, and will double up if he can catch a four. The river card is the , and Carlo Citrone is eliminated in eighth place, earning $59,175.

Unlucky Carlo better luck next time.

Sandy

Carlo Out
No help on the flop , but nearly hit runner runner to hit a miracle straight on the river.

The Action was:

Carlo moves all -in with 86 offsuit in seat 4 for 90,000
The button does a big moody and flacalls with AA
The blinds were 5-10k with running ante of 1k, 22k in pot
Carlo made a move with 2 live cards
If he was called by AK, AQ he would not be such an underdog

However, after missing the chance to go chip leader by passing QQ, its been a tough final for him. The QQ pass was a correct play, but must affect you.

Hope not Slo-Mo, hope not.

Red - about 20 odd years. Quite a story as to how I ended up here, but that's not really a Forum friendly tale.
