Hi Jen/Snoopy - nice to meet you yesterday. Sorry for rushing off when I got knocked out, nothing personal - it was my wedding anniversary and even at my age you have to hope there might be a chance! btw great updates and gl to Bob and AJ

No worries.

I don't think we caught your exit hand. What happened?

Ken Broad is OUT in 9th place, winning £2,050

In a big battle of the blinds, Ken Broad flat called on the small, and Joe Grech made a 6k raise from the big.  After a few moments, Ken pushed all-in for the remainder of his stack (approx. 17k) and Joe beat him into the pot - he held  .
Ken held:  .

A King came out first card and with the rest of the board never threatening Joe's lead, he adds another 20-something-thousand to his stack and busts Mr. Broad.

I was short (7k) with pocket 10s - decided to reraise AJs utg 3.2k and went all in. AJ calls with AQ (is that a relative?) and Q on turn - game over! btw even on a wedding anniversay the answer was still no!

Here you have the quartet of cats in blonde hats: from left - Joe Grech, Bob Clarke, Paul Jackson, Mick Jones.  With a certain M. Shafiq in the middle...

Joseph Grech is being a very cheeky monkey indeed.

He just raised 7.7k preflop.

Every1 folded.

Joseph showed 10-6.

It was suited tho...

but still very cheeky.
