More notes thrown my way by Jen, who is at the table watching the action AS IT HAPPENS.

-- Lots of minimum raising preflop.

Paul: I'm coming back, he's getting worried
Joe: I'm not worried.
Paul: See, he's getting defensive - he's worried.

hehe  Cheesy

You wouldn't think they were playing for 16k.

All played in good spirits.

And here she is...

the infamous famous Jennifer 'Mrs Merton' Mason.

She's very tired and is a bit ill to be honest. Aah bless.

She's refusing to stop tho.

Paul said that he's never played a comp where the heads up action has lasted this long

It's hard to know who to cheer for!

Good luck to them both.

Wow, it's really cool that somehow I've been allowed to sit right by the heads-uppers.  I can see Paul's cards a lot of the time... makes for fascinating stuff.  Anyway, pretty big pot last hand:

Paul raised to 25k preflop, Joe called (there's a lot of preflop raise-calling).
Flop: Two Clubs   Joe checks, Paul bets 20k, Joe raises to 50k.  Paul calls fairly quickly.
Turn:  three clubs.  Joe bets out 15k, called by Paul.
River:     Joe bets out 80k and this is where it gets interesting.  There's loads of chat - "I'll show you either way." "I really don't think you've got anything."

Well, in the end Paul called and showed .  The winning hand.  Joe held .  The mind boggles.

Check out our Update SuperSeat right next to the last two!  Snoops' turn to watch at close quarters.  The amount of chat going on, you'd think some kind of poker radio station was left on in the background.

Oh, and Paul wanted Joe described as "sneaky" on record.  No offence, Mr. Grech.

Hehe Bundle - I think in actual fact he's in Walsall already gearing up for next week (playing the supersat, in other words).  I can give him a text to see how he's getting on if you like...

Ah the fruit of Snoopy's reporting is here, in tidy little notes which put my heiroglyphs to shame... so here's the latest:

Joe is being helpful to our intrepid young reporter, and highlighting play of his hands.  For example, on an  flop, Paul bet 20k and was called.  Then on the turn () Joe bet out 30k, taking the pot right there.  All this time Joe was talking to Snoops, including the sage advice that ActionJack was probably only trying a sneaky flop steal there because Joe was distracted talking to Snoops.  Confused?  You will be.
