I was passing Lawrence Gosney's table (on which the lovely Crddolly is dealing) when I noticed there appeared to be a 6,000 preflop raise on the table.  It turned out that after five limpers, P. McCloskey had decided to raise but thrown the wrong colour chips in.  Even more worrying was the fact that Lawrence then dwelled over re-raising the gentleman all-in before passing and being shown  .

Double up for Mick Jones in rather dramatic fashion (got a wave over from tikay for this one):

On a flop of  he moved in (with a fairly low stack, 3k or so) with the nut flush draw  .  He was called by  .
Turn: (at which point he wasn't too optimistic)
River: and the Ace came through for him!

Accurate chip counts are tricky at this stage due to the double chance and the difficulty in telling whether or not someone has rebought.

Here's Badbeat-er Kevin Daly, whom I managed to snap almost smiling (although he rather self-deprecatingly described his grin as 'inane').  After some poor luck in Deauville he looks pretty relaxed over here in sunny(?) Walsall.

Here are the men in charge, suited and booted.

When Dani glanced at the photo, he commented that he looked like a film star.

I asked, 'What film?'

The name 'Elephant Man' cropped up.

I won't mention who said that. (ahem)

Gotta run, Dani's coming over...

Here's Ian Woodley, with what looks like George Geary's Industrial Strength Fan on his arm.  Next to him is T. Cook, with hotdog in profile stage right.

Double up for  news now -

Against adjacent Mick Jones - all-in on a three diamonds flop.

Turn and river were  and it's time for Mick's double chance while tikay gave a cheeky smile.
