Ed G is present too.

I was sure he spelt his name Giddons, but apparantly it's Giddins.

He even showed me his passport to prove it.

Phew, I'm glad I didn't have a bet with Ed on that 1.

I was sure he was wrong.

Also, wish Woody Deck good luck. I've heard AJ might be his lucky hand.

And we have our second short stack exit in the form of Andrew Nunn whose 17k put him in the same kind of position as tikay.  I saw him nick a couple of sets of blinds pretty gamely, but next thing we know it's that call of "Seven here" from the dealer.  Sorry, no more detail at present.

While there have been some surprising early casualties, there have been quite a few short stack doubles too -

Like.... Pavlo I whose  remained good against
Or.... Leery Nick Slade whose called down an  bettor with the board coming out Q 6 10 3 10, to double through
Or... S. Hardwick's JQ which beat Ronnie Debeaulox's AK (that brings up an odd sense of deja vu)

So it's all go, one way or another right from the start.

A pre-exit tikay at the disco table.

His assassin? The chap in seat 1, D Baine. Not David Blaine, although it took some magic to get rid of our tikay.

Quick update on Woody Deck for you.

I spoke to him briefly earlier today. The bad news is that he's a shortstack, but the good news is that he's in high spirits.

I have full confidence in our Woody that he can pull this one out of the bag.

Good luck Mr Deck, I for one am behind you. Now go get them son!

I was passing the now-defunct Table 3 when there was a dwell over decision for All the Chips going on in Mr. Greenhalgh's mind.
The board:  three diamonds  on which he was put to the decision by Nick Slade.

Eventually he called for the rest of his chips (there was 30k in the pot) with but found the mighty in Nick's hand.

Say howdy ho to Mr Andy Gomm. One of only two inverted chair sitters remaining. If you're lucky, I'll post a piccy of the other 1 later... but only if you're good.
