Biggish pot. Board = Flanders bo diddly bets. D Blaine thinks for a while, before passing pocket jacks. Flanders shows queens. Nice fold.

OK, rendezvous with the pie thing is over, back to watching the final tables, where chip leader Tim Flanders is still in pole position.
About the payouts - I don't think people enter these things with their eyes closed - they know that the structure is much more likely to be like this than not. However in the brochure for the event the percentages paid to the places are not mentioned and you'd have to ask to find out in advance whether 9 of the paid places are actually going to result in a net loss, or how huge a money jump comes at the top. No one here looks terribly surprised at any rate...

And if you believe that, you'll believe that Snoopy doesn't have a secret plan to get in the background of every 425 final table interview...

M Herron has doubled up.
Maurice raises preflop with A-9 off, Herron moves all in, Maurice calls.
8-4-Q-9-7 board is no help.

That is what i cannot understand Jen. Players keep turning up paying their cash and playing yet almost all think the prize structures are poor.At the end of the tourney a deal will be done and the highlight event of the week will end like a damp squib, same last week, same next week and same almost every week for the rest of the year. How many more events have to be spoilt before Casinos listen?
