I guess that's one way to make a living from poker.

Was wondering why a "pro" was dealing and not playing.

i seem to think whats ok?

i certainly dont think uncapped 10% rake is ok

i certainly dont think a pro dealing and playing in the same game is ok

i do think its ok to let people know of a new place to play

Well call me old fashioned, but only a few days ago when someone new came on OUR forum, it was:

Hi guys, my name is Pete or Andrew or Tony, or whatever. I like your forum etc.

And BTW if any of you are interested I happen to have a game........

Not just blatant spam for a private game in a hotel.

Just my opinion.

Apologies to the forum if I have offended anybody.I didn`t want to post a huge message regarding our game but clearly by not doing so I have obviously not made people aware of the facts which are as follows.

We run a friendly cash game in a safe ,secure enviroment at a Hotel near Gatwick Airport.Tony Hakki is sponsored by ourselves and because everyone is aware of his integrity we thought he would be an ideal person to "run" the live game.We use a variety of dealers and sometimes Tony does indeed deal - this is because we have found that people do not want Tony in the game so as I am sure you will all empathise it is hard to please everybody. For the avoidance of doubt we charge a 5% rake BUT with both a MINIMUM level needed before the pot becomes "rakeable" and a MAXIMUM of 25.00 therefore in effect our players benefit both ways.As previously stated we provide ALL food and drink and do NOT allow tipping of either waitresses or dealers and therefore we feel we provide a good value service for people who are fed up with the usual options or indeed the obvious "distractions" of a casino.Of course we understand that it may not appeal to everyone however I am sure you will all agree that it is only fair for people to be furnished with the FACTS before they make up their mind.

Regarding the issue of "Spam" with the greatest respect to everyone I thought the whole point of the forum was to talk about poker of which of course this is.Obviously we try to run our cash game for a profit which I understand is the reason that perhaps people may resent this post but conversely we are not forceing anyone to come.We have clearly got off to a bad start and once again I apologise if we have offended anybody however if you require ANY further information then please do not hesitate to contact us at cashgames@btinternet.com / tony@tonythehitman.co.uk

OK by the true definition of Spam it probably was, but its hardly in the league of the filth I get sent to me every day by email! (Some of which I didn't ask for HeHeHe).

I'm always happy to hear of new games being organised though. Might be worth thinking about a specific category or place to post info like this....and online promotions etc.

Just a thought from a new boy....ignore it if you want...LOL!

Exactly Dan, this is blatant spam from someone who signed up specifically to promote this.
Why not sign up, say hello to everyone, contribute a little and then drop a few hints as to the game you run?
I refer you to this:-

Maximum rake of 25, are you having a laugh? If you charge more than 5 in rake per pot then you are seriously milking the game. The only people winning in this game will be the house.
