I have just bought a Digital Tuner for my Computer and it is so good I felt I had to share it with you.

This is a truly remakable peice of kit, I bought it of ebay but a Google search will revel a number of suppliers.
The ebay details are as follows:

Freecom DVB-T USB TV Stick Digital TV tuner Brand New
   Item number: 8770177358

It as a very neat piece of kit, connecting through a USB2 port.

After a little trial and error I now have 38 TV channels and over 40 Radio channels all running off an indoor aerial, goodness knows how many I would get if I connected to an external aerial. Picture quality is outstanding, loads of extras  including pausing live tv, recording, infinite sizing from full screen to minuscule and lots more. I suppose reception will depend on location but if you live in a good reception area it is a must buy. Just one negative point the ariel supplied was not much use (in my case) but I bought a "One For All indoor antenna" product no:SV9020 from Maplin for £9.99 and that did the trick.

How much I hear you ask, £42 including postage, unreal.

I suppose it sounds like a sales pitch, but it is not, just felt some of you would be interested, watch TV while playing poker, it might break your concentration and give me more of a chance

So what do you get Chippie?

Is it the 'Freeview' channels??

Sounds good though!

I've got two!

Excellent bit of kit. I saw a friends son had one so I bought one for my son and one for me. I use it to watch Deal or No Deal in the office.

In essence it's a freeview box the size of a USB memory stick with a wire attached to a small ariel.
