tikay just related a fascinating Surinder hand - a rainbow flop of 9 6 5 came.  Little happened.  The 4 on the turn saw a bet from Surinder, with Mateyboy calling.  The river brought a 3, and Mateyboy didn't look thrilled with it, saying, "Did you get there eventually?"

Surinder bet 3,000 and said, "I have the seven eight of diamonds.  Had it all along."
Then Mateyboy said, "OK, I put you all in."
"Call," said Surinder, showing the  , at which his opponent mucked.

I am almost entirely sure that Owen Simering is OUT - he was definitely walking towards the front of the card room, slowly, not in an "I need the loo but can't wait to get back in the game" type way...

But Nate Keeley  21,400 (go Nate!)
        Kjartan        16,350.

My bet is looking sweet.

Guess who has the TV cameras trained on his perfectly poised post-knockout speech?  Here's a hint:

Hello everyone, Rob Yong here checking my emails on Snoopys PC. I bought myself an Austrian beer to cheer me up. I was in great shape with 27k chips when my AA got cracked by QQ losing me 25k. The weather is freezing here and I think I'm the only vegatarian in Austria as even the soup has ham in it. Good luck to all the other UK players in and looking forward to 2 more days of railbirding.

Loo - please make sure you get the TV fixed! Should be home ASAP - can't face Monte Carlo!

Cheers Rob

unlucky rob, you cant do much more than get it all in with AA, on another day they hold  and you have a great shot at the title.   Keep Simon motivated and wish him good luck from me.

El Blondie, too is OUT at this stage (saying it's level 4 doesn't do justice to the amount that's been played today - we're a bit tired and we haven't played a hand) - I will try to hunt his elusive Blondeness for details, but no promises.  It's fair to say that he never had a big stack and played well regardless.

We are sure that they will be playing only six levels today instead of the eight advertised on the Structure Sheet, mainly because it will turn into a 3-dayer instead of a 4-dayer if they are allowed to keep knocking each other out through the night.

Owen's exit:

He moved in with AK, but stumbled into pocket kings.

In his own words, 'I'm exhausted'.

Noflopshomer, Robert HM, Maid Marrion, and AlrightJack all have some catching up to do as a result of Owen's exit.
