KLM Airlines - What a load of Bo**ocks !

Anybody thinking of travelling to a european event, please think twice before booking with KLM,

Birmingham departure - delayed 1 hour

Amsterdam connection flight - delayed 1 hour

Arrive in Vienna - No Luggage

Vienna departure - delayed 1 hour

Amsterdam departure - delayed 2 hours

I'm here in Amsterdam airport still waiting.

Could have told you that before Mick...

I've not actually travelled KLM myself, but a lot of colleagues and friends have told me to steer well clear. Many tales of delayed planes, lost luggage, rubbish customer service etc...

Even if KLM were the cheapest by a country mile, I still wouldn't use their service.

(Sorry, I know this is no consolation to you...)

(You could always play on the magic roundabout at Schipol...! Stick 5 euros on number 8 please...!)

I was delayed 8 hours, stranded at Amsterdam when i came back from America last year, the most frustrating part was i had a pal living 5 minutes from the airport but i hadn't taken my phone so couldn't call him!!

Yeah I went with KLM to vegas and no way would I ever get on another of their flights
seats too close together and i've long legs, got a huge bruise on me knee where the git
in front slammed his seat down onto my knee
and they had a pull down 1960's screen at the front of the plane, except i was at the back
couldn't see anything

Quite glad I didn't pay for it

ive flown with KLM before and i had a comfortable and plesent flight and it was on time both ways

I had a flight from Istanbul to Leeds/Bradford via Schipol a few years ago.  The flight to Amsterdam was delayed by high winds so I missed the connecting flight to Leeds.

Conversation with the customer desk went as follows:
Me: I missed my connection because of high winds.
KLM: Yes, we're sorry about that.
Me: Are there any more flights to Leeds tonight?
KLM: No
Me: So does that mean I'll get put up in a hotel?
KLM: No, we only do that when the delay is our fault!
Me: So I have the option of sitting here all night then or paying for a hotel myself?
KLM: Yes sir.

In the end I got a flight to Manchester, caught the car hire desk 5 minutes before it closed and drove to Leeds/Bradford to pick up my car.  Needless to say my luggage didn't make it on the same flight as me.

Funnily enough, I've never flown with them again.

Worst.........airline..........ever!
