Seeing as the good Mr. Raab and Flushy have gone for dinner "a little way down the beach" I have commandeered this laptop and will try to assist Snoopy until they return.

Like with some hands I saw while wandering around:

A rather harried-looking MilkybarKid was on the button, and a short stack raised to 700.  He flat called, and so did big blind Greg Raymer.  The flop came jd Two Diamonds and Raymer bet out 2k, which almost put the short stack in the cutoff all-in.  He took the plunge, Ben folded and Raymer called the little bit extra.
Greg:
Matey:

The turn and river were inconsequential (in other words, no A no diamond) and the little guy took a bite out of Pokerstars Posterboy (and general all-round nice chap) Raymer.

The reason Ben Grundy is looking annoyed is that even with his reasonable 16k or so, getting his Aces cracked by Queens, all in on an 8 8 2 flop has rattled him.  He has plenty, but I am sure it's the space where the 24k total used to be that he's looking at.

Hi - I first said hi to the rookie near the start of today and he was very subdued indeed and held up under 2k!  I went out to see a sight or two with my Mum, and when I got back he had 16,000!  I think not deciding "now I don't have a lot of chips I might as well go in with anything" has saved his bacon, and chipped him right back up... He's in better spirits. Smiley

Kevin Daly is OUT

He raised to 500 preflop from the button. The small blind and under the gun limper both call.

Flop =

check, check, Daly bets 1.5k.

Scandieboy in the small blind calls, under the gun folds.

Turn =

Scandieboy bets just 1k and Daly moves all in.

Scandieboy dwells momentarily, actually thinking he may be beat, and then calls.

Scandieboy =

Daly =

He's a gonna...

After some preflop action, table neighbours Les Kerrighan and Martin Green cross swords briefly.

Les bets 1.2k on a Q-2-3 flop, Martin reraises to 3k, Les folds.

I think the Rookie found parts of his game that he never knew were there today. I'm sure Sensei Yoyo will get a nice cut if Mr Wilson cashes.

Probably almost an hour - a ninety minute clock is an unusual and marvellous thing.
