Right, you have a choice of the albums below but you can only get one, which one do you choose?
Jose Gonzalez - Veneer
Arctic Monkeys
Corrinne Bailey Ray (not sure of the spelling)
Kooks (if and when it's out)

Why can you only get one?
I'd probably get the Arctic Monkeys

Mr F,
My opinions.
Jose Gonzalez - Brilliant but leave it till the summer, will be the second album on as soon as the sun shines (Aerial - K.Bush being first, Ahhh a Pimms, wireless connection, deck chair and my CD player.).
Artic Monkey's a stunning debut but Mardy Bum aside you have heard it all, the more I listen the more I am convinced it is Mark and Lard (Bring back The Shirehorses)
CBR - Classic, is brilliant as it is beautiful. However if your collection has not got Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday or some early motown is this really the album for you.
Kooks - the most under rated album for a very long time. Titled, Inside In/Inside Out. Chilled, sort of like Turin Breaks with a bit of Supergrass.
So to sum up I would buy Morning Runner - Wilderness is Paradise Now, a masterpiece come the end of the year it will be in most peoples top 5 if not 3.
Share and Enjoy.

I'm with the shirehorses too. Mark and Lard are absolute legends, was a sad day when they left Radio 1. Still remember the shock in the voices when Kelly Jones left them a goodbye message.

They all make nice coasters to put your tea on while you listen to Furious Angels by Rob Dougan.

So dont bother with the albums you listed at the top of the thread - use the money wisely and buy several Shirehorses and Mighty Horse albums instead!! ........................ CARRY ON!!

Are these big groups? no, your just cut off from the rest of civilisation - news of these groups and their music should reach Kilmarnock by 2036 - so only another 30 years to wait. What did you think of the bay city rollers latest hit?
