Righty, after speaking to my understudy ( he he he ) we are swinging towards going to 'Hotshots' its in a complex known as 'The Springfield Quay' (pronounced Key)

it has bar and pool tables etc etc (especially for our fav Mod), should be a good laugh, plus its only for a few drinks, then others can do what they want later.

it is at the bottom of Glasgow, over the river clyde, but it is very central for all hotels.

Aye theres a travellodge just across the road from Hotshots that I believe a few blondites are staying in.
