I was created on the 19th October 2005.

 My creator was at work, bored. Nothing new there.

 He had seen one of my relatives work well on a football forum he frequents and thought that on somewhere like blonde, with its splendid cast of creative minds, lateral thinkers and occasional geniuses that it would work well there.

So I began life. I was lovingly cared for and as my carers grew bored of me new generations of posters began to look after me. Occasionally I would fall off the rails...I discovered porn and smut and very exciting it was too. Seeing me conjured up images that my creator never thought he would see. Occasionally my creator and his friends steered me back on course

Amazingly a batty old lady in Milton Keynes took to transcribing me, word for word...for those too lazy to read me page by page

Time moved on and I grew and grew. I became unpopular, people thought I had outstayed my welcome. In truth I probably did.

A new year dawned and still I was on Page 1 of General Discussion and then I appraoched 4000 posts old. Retirement beckoned. Even my creator had long since stopped checking on me. I had passed my sell by date

I now say goodbye. I am off to an Old Posts home in Bexhill on sea to join my old friend "Room 101" who spent many long hours next to me on this page

I think it is fitting that my old creator got to end what he started....how sweet.

I may get a son or daughter to check in from time to time but as of now I am, locked, sans teeth, sans eyes, sans everything...........
