OK, my previous post may have been a "tad" strong. "THE BEST" is very um,,,,, whats the word,,,,,,,,, oh  I dunno, but you get the gist.

Anyhow,,, the programs I mentioned are VERY good (if not the best) lol

"legally" you are  required to buy a separate copy for each computer. NIS is a very good product if used correctly and if configured correctly is better than Zone Alarm. On saying that, no f**ker knows how to configure NIS correctly so IMO is a pile of crap. I would also go with Zone Alarm as, not only is it free but its a lot user friendly than other known products.

We dont all work for NASA so why make it rocket science?

fair point... hence the main reason why Norton gets business from people like me - it's in the stores, it's bright and shiny. It's a load of s***? No matter, because you won't even know it's there anyway.

I will definitely look into Zone Alarm for the firewall, thanks again for that. thumbs up

I just upgraded to Norton 2006 on my main PC, and it has run like a bag of shite ever since.. 

After reading this thread I may actually switch to something else.
