The guys are just unbagging their chips & getting sorted out. There is an absolutely enormous crowd on the rails, & it's tough to move about in there. There was very generous applause last night for each player that busted out, the fans really are making for a nice atmo.

(Sorry - posted this in the wrong tread earlier)

Only two Norwegians left now, Espen Saltnes (388k) and Kjetil Praesttun (102k).

Espen is a high-roller internet player, playing stakes $50/100 through 150/300 on Crypto. He is also the Live Texas Hold'em NL Norwegian Champion from 2004.

Kjetil also play high stakes online, his best finish live I think is 7th in this year's Party Poker Million Cruise, netting $170k. 6 people on the WPT TV table and he went out 7th...

I would be veeery happy if you guys can keep updates on these two as well as the Brits.

From 57 starting Norwegians, only 2 left, and BOTH are from Bergen (!)

The powers that be have pretty well banned all media from the immediate vicinity of the Arena, with the exception of ESPN, & Cardplayer. Difficult for me to comment on that decision, as I need to retain my Press Pass, for what iit's now worth.....

So am going to have to duck & dive a bit to get updates, but I'm sure we will manage somehow.

As I was malingering yesterday & left all the work to Jen, I told her to take the day off, she respected my power & authority and said she intended to be here. She'll be here soon I guess, the poor lass was wrecked last night - or more correctly, 3am this morning. There's not much of her, but she's all heart. Mad as a hatter, mind.

Thanks Sig, those little profiles are most helpful. Good to see two Bergeners still flying the flag. Two Norwayers, Three Swedes, a Scot, an Irishman, and a doiuble handful of English guys, cant be bad for Europe.

Yeah, I included them, I did say there were three Swedes, I assumed this included the two Danes.

Welcome to blonde Mr Lithium.

Seriously, what can you tell us about your two guys? We'd love to hear.

If you cant get near the floor today TK lets hope you don't talk to Mr Kalmar all day.
Shame he gotta spend the day stealing Mr Gibson's BB.

Best of luck to all the Brits.

Just chatted to Skalie (Mr Kalmar), so that's bokked him. Seriously, he's going nicely, up to 620lk

Nick Gibson is the coolest looking player, he looks very comfortable & at ease with himself, he's got 580k.

Andrew Black, who Paddywhack described as looking like a Buddhist (in fact I think he IS a Buddhist, he certainly did the Monk thing for a few years) had a flat session, & has 225k.
