Had a break-time chat with Vicky Coren, who's had so much experience of fast-structured TV events in the last couple of days (!) that she thought this would seem positively sloth-like.  But no, she says the table she's just been moved to has the "raise, re-raise all-in, call" thing going already, with the blinds only about to climb to 300 - 600 ante 25.

The nice fella in the cardroom informed me that only 20 people have bought in so far and theres a max of 130 runners so he thinks its unlikely that the event will be sold out. I make no promises, but you should be ok to come and buy in on Sunday.

Downstairs, Chunkymick has taken a couple of hits to his stack (down to just a few thousand) after two rather large hands - on one he saw a Jack-high flop with , but passed to a big raise from Mateyboy.  Then another beat with  on an  flop - no good.

Other things noticed - Burnley John back up to around 18,000 - he said he lost them to "That EPT winner" and then "Got them back again."  He was shaking his head in the direction of Mads Andersen who has 25,000 and was paying no attention, away in ipod land.
