Just curious.  What limits/stakes are people playing at?

Did you start low and increase with experience?

Did you notice a difference in gameplay at higher stakes?

Super low stakes for cash games 0.15/0.25 NL (bankroll related)

For STT's I like the 5 and 10 games

and for MTT's the 5, 10 or 20 max  Grin

I can turn a profit (albeit small) at these stakes so Im in now rush to 'step up' as it were.  Cheesy

What about you Maroon??

And Ive never played really high stakes but there is no difference between the 5 & 10 games IMO.

i play in the 19 20 and 30 6pacs mostly and there is not an awful lot of difference. i also sometimes play in the 60 90 and 120 6 pacs and there is a difference, not as many all ins pre flop and flat calling with rags hoping to catch a flop. mtt i play 10 20 and 30 and there is no difference. as for cash games i play 1/2 at most because if you make 1 bad call in a higher limit game it could be your bankroll gone for a month

why do you play in the s game where they cap the rake at 3 if you play in the $ game the rake is capped at 3$ therefore on a capped pot your saving money

so i would play 2$/4$ instead of 1/2 same level but less rake

but personally untill i reach 5 figure bankroll i will stick too the max buy ins of 100$ either cash or STT but for STT mainly $5-$50

you are playing poker for fun or to make money?

if its for fun play the  tables but if your playing to make money you are cutting into your profit by paying 35% more rake

Good point Ironside.  I never knew that.

I play 3 STT mostly or 0.25/0.50, 0.50/1.0, $0.25/0.50 FLH.  Sometimes 2 MTT.  All bankroll restricted  Undecided

Once I get a bit more experience/bankroll I will try some of the bigger STT, MTT and satellites.

Played 4 live 10 rebuy tourneys.  Came 3rd in first one (beginners luck) and went out soon after the break in rest.  I enjoy them most but feel I am gonna do more money on them in the long run than online.
