Some images from today - it is an enormous media circus with press everywhere and spectators watching on huge screens outside the tournament area. There are occassional shouts and whoops from the spectators as they watch the action fed from the TV table inside. Only people over 21 have been allowed in these areas so players who brought their kids along to watch have had them turned away.

There is a lot of British interest and support and also a lot of comaradery (if thats how you spell it!!) amongst the players - many chatting before the event and wishing each other good luck. The players have friends and colleagues watching as well as their sponsor and it is a very emotionally charged atmosphere.

The players have remained calm throughout the media scrum and appear immune to the constant intrusion. It is as if they have become used to the press presence and have tunnel vision for their game.

Guess you guys may as well get to bed.

Jen is not back from Wynns yet, where she's covering the Negranau v Tony Bloom $500k challenge. Hope she's OK, i worry about lasses of her age when they are alone. And she does better Live Updates, so we want her back, sharpish!
