JP, talking about young Dan Carter, said this.....
Haha yes David Gower I see it now. Some of the players were going "He'll get caught soon" yet folding every time he raised was quite funny to watch.
I was in a semi-Final in Luton late last year I think it was. Bubble time approached, Dan arrived at table with plenty of chips.
He Raised EVERY hand, for at least 3 orbits. Burnley John was on the table, & got a bit growly with the kid, who said nothing, just kept Raising. If anyone Re-Reaised, he just moved all-in. He lost a few hands, but by & large, his any two cards trick was working, & he claimned John's scalp on the way.
I found AK & we went to war. Another bubble ensued for yours truly, beaten by 4-9.
Buit this lad is a perfect Gent at the table, got a bit of Thewy in him, you know, ever-smiling-now-give me-your-chips-sunshine....
Great prospect.

Lawrence Gosney has been on the 'phone, he expects to arrive Luton at about 7pm.
Anyone know if any seats left, & is there anyone there who can buy him in? I will guarantee the buy-in.

It's not even remotely funny, & you should both be ashamed of yourselves.
Thewy is a big softie really.

JP & Gosney on same table. I could sell tickets to watch that. Don't blink though.

I could watch Gosney play for hours!! - He is CLASS.
Another player that adopts the same style is Dave "The Gambler" Courtney - who just happened to be on my table in the £200. I knew I was in for lots of chips or an early bath, sadly it was the latter - not even seeing the 100 200 level!!
These guys (Gosney and Dave) play SO aggressive, raising most hands, calling re raises . You NEVER know where you are with them, they could have AA or indeed J4 and play them the same.
VERY hard to play against, you cant sit and wait for premium hands with these guys, cos even if u have say KK (as I did) and its a raggy board with no flush, they can easily hit 2 pair, but will bet the same way with nothing. Unfortunately for me Dave had 2 pair Jacks and fours.
Back for the £750 , 10,000 points starting (double chance) so should be alot more play.

Somethings always puzzled me with the double chance format (never played one)
You say its a £750 D/C so is it £750 for your 1st 5,000 and another £750 if you lose that or say pay £1500 and get the full 10,000?

No, its £750 for 10,000 chips
Half of which you get at the start, the other half you can take if you go down to 2500 , or you get them at the end of level 2 i believe.
Some places let you take them whenever you like, so you can start with the full 10000, but you have to be half of the origional 5000 at Luton
