Contrary to what the piece on our Front Page today said, tonight's Betfair Monte Carlio qualifier - with 2 GUARANTEED SEATS - will be at 1800 UK, NOT 2100 UK.

Memo to Self - do buck up.

milkybar plays as bennyboi on betfair. if u email betfair you will get a refund i am sure. You would think I had free blinds but someone almost almost always beat me to it- it made life very difficult for me.

Cheers Tikay

I woke up very pleased this morning  Smiley

I was short chipped after just a few hands ... practically out as i had just 375 of the starting 2000 left.

It was scary on the last hand. I put the shortest stack all in with A2. He had JK. Flop TQ6 ..... time for a sweat! Blank... blank..... phew!

Where you already drunk milky? (I believe you attacked a nice premier crux straight after it finished) The final hand i said do we both get the same prize which was confirmed by admin. You asked me to play you properly so I said ok lol and went allin with KQ. You called with a2. Flop brought a king and the river brought an ace. 1st and 2nd is the same so well done. You predicted when there was 18 left that i was going to double you up- I told you I wouldnt do it until we were heads up, Least I was good to my word.

And yes Tikay thanks alot mate. Ian disconnected in the final and was gone for over an hour while he anted away. He had a reasonable stack too. He got back in about 2 minutes after he had got knocked out. As far as I am aware he was the only one who had any problems during this comp but I am sure betfair will do something for him if he emails them the circumstances.

Had a little time to calm down now!!
Yeah as said i was sitting pretty, 2nd or close 3rd in chips, 7 left in.
With around 12-13k and the blinds 2 and 4 hundred i need to just pick and choose my hands and let the shorter stacks self destruct before i needed to get reinvolved, unfortunately got disconnected and tried everything i could think of to get back in.
Reboot after reboot, safemode, safemode with networking. Complete uninstall reinstall of betfair (obviously going crazy with despair and frustration) nothing worked!
Not sure what would be worse, getting back in when i did (out) or getting back in with a few chips!
Still awaiting a reply from betfair.
Is there another one of these satts next week or is that it?

Ian

That was the last one.

I think only me and Ariston noticed you were disconnected for a while. I did say to Ariston that you should have rang a mate to play for you till you could reconnect...

Hopefully you will get your buy in back.
