We're here and the players verifying their chips.  Unbelieveble excitement in the crowd queueing for their chance to stand around the table and get a glimpse through the cameras of these final 9, one of whom is today going to walk away with the staggering $7.5 million first prize

The chip verification process seems to be unbagging and signing something - can't quite see from here - but it is interesting to think that these millions in chips in front of the players represent actual millions (10,000 chips for $10,000).  Amazing.

We wish these guys good luck after 6 days of marathon poker - especially Andrew Black, who has made the antesup crew very happy by making sure that Ireland is represented on the final table!

WELCOME TO THE FINAL TABLE OF THE 2005 WORLD SERIES OF POKER!!!    (the voice in the sky has come on)

They have warned us (among a whole bunch of rules) that use of a mobile phone is punishable by death.  Wow, they're really taking it seriously.

good evening to you and tikay  must be great atmosphere. all poker players would love to be there. on the 425 phone in tony seemed to express his dislike of loud foul mouth yanks and an even lower regard for all australians. can such a mild mannered gent really hold such views?  his comments please.

Poor Steve Dannenmann - the only one not to get a description.

Blinds will start at $50,000 - $100,000 with a $10,000 ante.  Greg Raymer having a little chat, congratulating everybody (well they're all millionaires after all) and handing it over to the dealer who finally is told to "shuffle up and deal."

KK Matusow vs Scott Lazar two red AA (shorter, and all-in)

Flop: (OUCH)
Turn: two hearts
River: (OH MY!) the running hearts have given Lazar the nut flush and a double-through.  And the crowd goes wild...
