As a current member of the most established casino groups in the north east of england and would like to expand my knowlegde from online poker to real games. Which in view of the members would the most helpful and enjoyable of the poker room to try. I have spoken to both Stanley and Grosvenor card room Manager's/Supervisors recently and both have beem equally friendly and helpful.

Stanleys in Newcastle is a tremendous venue to play tournament poker. A secure & free car park, great bunch of lads, plenty of banter, & the cardroom Staff are as helpful as they come.

Gala in Teeside also hold decent comps, and a nice big free car park, but I have not been there for a while, so don't know what the fun factor is like there these days. Perhaps someone else can help with that, and any other Casinos in that part of the world.

Competition schedules, phone numbers & addresses of both casinos are in our Cardroom Directory.
