I just spoke to Ironside, & he's had a bit of bad news - they have cancelled his op, due to an emergency which has priority - and he's coming home today. It's likely they will reschedule for Luton week, which he is hacked off about as he wants to play the Luton Omaha Freezeout.

So, a 5 hour drive South to the hossie, 3 days in hossie, and a 5 hour drive back up to the chilly wastes of Aberdeen or wherever.

That is just rotten luck. Don't be giving me no bad beat stories - THATS a bad beat.

And it's bad news for US too - he'll be back on the Forum tonight as soon as he gets home, strutting his stuff.

And there was us thinking we had the run of the place for a few weeks. Thats a bad beat, too.....
