I'm thinking of going to Vegas sometime this year for the first time and I'm looking for advice on when would be the best time to go there, value for money, weather etcetc.

Any recommendations on hotels etc are very welcome.

I've only ever been at the WSOP time but it's a great time to go. All the hotels are trying to outdo each other so if you like NLHE you'll be spoilt for choice.

Weather-wise the best time of year is between now and the end of May IMO.

I was there last July and it was too hot to even walk half a mile after 10am.

It was too hot before 10am I nearly died and i'm as fit as a fiddle
