Apologies for the time the forum has been down today.

All issues should now be resolved, if they are not please e-mail me at webmaster@blondepoker.com

Please note the added feature of a calendar for significant events. The calendar currently shows birthdays, if anyone objects to their birthdays being shown please let me know and I will disable the birthday feature.

Your forum should be running smoothly from now on.

I'm glad someone else mentioned that. I was having a moment of severe self doubt....'I was SURE I'd replied to that post'

On a broader subject Mrs C/Tikay...is there any progress towards segmenting the forums into a wider variety of subjects

eg...tournament updates/general poker news/poker strategy and advice/off topic etc?

I'm sure this would make it easier to navigate

Sorry tight, I dont agree, I think the rambling nature of the threads hold a lot of the forums appeal. It might become easier to navigate but would it lose its spontaneity. As it is its like a group of friends having a chat, lets not make it into a sterile information exchange

fair enough red-dog, as you may have gathered I like a good ramble too

but I think there were plans afoot to segment the forums, which is why I ask

Sorry Dan, I will surf the net and do a few comparisons between major supermarket chains and also compare my findings with the rate of the "Tomatoe" at my local fruit and veg shop...hope this serves as an apology for me hijacking the very serious and indeed worthy topic and i also hope you can forgive me and accept that my demob feeling at finally getting home from Vegas is more than a little to blame for my insensitivity toward the ongoing debate of the "price of tomatoes" Smiley

You seem to be labouring under the illusion that I was refering to the cost of fruit/vegetables, what I mean is have you seen the film 'The Price of Tomatoes' sequel to 'The Grapes of Wrath'

Is a tomatoe a fruit or a vegetable?
