Well, I have to say that Ian Woodley has probably come off the best out of this hour of 7-handedness - he has over 700,000, while the short stack is Sylvester Geoghan who surely can't pass many hands with his stack the way it is...  Off to gather round the rope again.

Sylvester Geoghan is the 7th place finisher winning €40,000

He made his move with Q-9, but ran into Branden's red tens.

A ten on the flop, and that was it.

Down to 6...

which means we're done for the night.

Yep, see you tomorrow guys.

No sign of the chip counts as of yet... and we're dying for some food, so it looks like it's Hasta La Vista from us.

Just a plastic fork for now though... still have the LIVE final tomorrow.

And we'll have the chip counts for you too.

Looks like another unknown winner. I am begining to wonder if there is any skill left in poker tournaments. My money is on Wong... he was all in with  AGAINST  .......  rag rag comes on the flop..... followed by runner  . Nice 300k pot ,thats what is required to win these now.

Hi Leevan

Yes, there is but at least one excellent player went out through very bad luck.

[As they say: 'that's poker' - not that it makes it any easier!!!]

Yes a lot of good players went out on bad beats, you can shake your head and say "thats poker" but a lot of people are saying this is the ONLY game where someone can make an awful mistake and put out the world champion, something will need to change in tournaments. In a cash game if someone plays really bad and gets lucky, we dont care because we know its coming back.
