Your dad's roof must be a very weak poker player - it folds too easily.

My default state in any situation is to try and make crappy puns - it was the best I could do.

thanks

Yea gatso, I know what you mean about the white dust. The lady next door came across. She thought a bomb had gone off.

I have recruited a couple of people off the street. They are my clean up crew. I had never seen them before. But the promise of cash can persuade anyone to get too work. I gave them a hard hat each ( my dad has about 20 of them in the hall cupboard from work ). There was no way I am gonna get sued if some rubble falls on them.

lol.  No, most of the clean up is complete. I had a crew of skateboard kids who were suprisingly very hard workers. I think they have done this before. They worked like a bunch of frenzied ants. There were two pack leaders who bagged up all the rubble and handed it to the others to take outside. There is about 30 black bags sitting out in the front garden. It is just dust that is mainly there now and a bloody great hole where the ceiling used to be.

Under the circumstances, I think you may be excused (just this once!) the 50p fee for a bad beat tale.

Still, it could have been worse.  It could have been your house.
