have i missed something or is there value in the market in laying hearts at 1.4 and backing rangers at anything over 2.0

lets look at evidance

rangers are 5 points behind and have 1 game in hand, both teams have to play celtic and also each other

rangers are the form team and hearts are only where they are due to the points burley amassed for them at the start of the season or they would be in the middle table mix

rangers have 4 games left even if they lose to celtic tomorrow they will only be 5 points behind hearts then need to get a point off celtic or rangers to keep themselves in the hunt which i think they would find hard

if rangers where to take a point tomorrow then hearts will need to beat celtic or get something from rangers

if rangers were to beat celtic then hearts would need to beat celtic and get something from rangers

i think there is value in this market even if there is no liquidity

Rangers should have been backed at 9/1 to finish 2nd back in Dec.

Having said that Hearts played well at CP the other week & should have got a point. If they play the same way at Tynecastle against us they will get at least a draw, remember Celtic have nothing to play for.

I think if Rangers are goin to finish 2nd then they need to beat Celtic today but their record against us over the last 6 years is appalling especially in the league.

I reckon Celtic wont lose today & Hearts wont lose to Celtic.

rangers are the form team

Rangers last five games have been a 1-1 draw with Hearts, 1-0 home wins over Dunfermline and Motherwell, a good 4-1 away win to Dundee Utd, and a 1-1 draw at home to Aberdeen.

I asked the Rangers season ticket holder who sits beside me at work how the Motherwell game had been. His one word reply - 'torture'. Hardly great form.

Hearts last five games have been 4-0 win over Hibs in the SC, an unlucky 1-0 defeat away to Celtic, 4-0 and 2-0 home wins over Dunfermline and Killie, and a 2-1 defeat yesterday away to Hibs.

Rangers next three games are all away - Celtic, Killie, and Hibs. Before playing Hearts on the  last day of the season.

Hearts have home games against Celtic and Aberdeen before playing at Ibrox on the last day of the season.

That's not to say there's no merit in Ironsides observation, but I'd be looking for very good value before contemplating any bets on Rangers finishing second, especially given Hearts form at Tynecastle.

aberdeeen are still looking for a place in europe so the hearts aberdeen game should be a cracker

both hearts and aberdeen need to win and aberdeen are showing promise i predict a 2-1 to aberdeen

rangers will beats hibs thus meaning that rangers will be odds on favourite for the 2nd spot

As much as this is quite exciting for the teams involved the SPL has reached farcical proprtions this season IMO.

I was in Cin Cins on Sunday wanting Celtic to lose, the Rangers were wanting them to win, Aberdeen fans are wanting Rangers to win, Hearts fans are wanting Hibs to win this just isnae right & its all do to with this stupid split  >:?

Traditional enemies rooting for each other, perhaps I'm a little naiive but could that possibly help in breaking down barriers and deep set hatred amongst the extreme. (Only speaking of Aberdeen fans anti Rangers feelings, as I have no real experience of any owt else)

Was in an Aberdeen pub tonight watching the game. Guys I've known to be arrested, for mindlessly throwing bottles at the visiting Rangers supporters in the past, cheering them on instead. Is this a bad thing?
