Playing $20 rebuy on Laddies last evening, had about average chips or a little less with 2 tables left, antes getting quite big,1k/2k,  guy makes a reasonable raise and I'm sitting with 99.

Decision time methinks, I'm either going to get into the mix or going !

RR allin for my 16k say I.

Ice cream (freezer) dwells and then says "cards say fold but pot odds say call" which he duly does with KQ.

He misses and I win a nice pot about 35k and he is now crippled with about 5k.

Very next hand he raises my BB with his case 5k, obviously I call the extra 3k, I have 66 and it stands up.

He leaves and comments "well played , but you over-rate your middle pairs" !!!

It cracked me up anyway.

yeah but the antes are that high, what are the blinds?

some players call the blinds antes
in this case thats what is meant
ladbrookes has a horrid structure with no running ante
after a couple of levels there is no play in in the game its either
raise all in or fold
