I will still be coming on Sunday but I don't think I will be playing, just turning up to see everyone, so if a dealer or chip b**** is needed I can help out with that, otherwise I'll just use that time to get drunk and rail!
See you there! xx

I might well come along - can't really afford to play but it is only down the road from me, so might pop along to say hello.

Those of you going to the Western by tube, note that the Piccadilly line through Park Royal is closed over the weekend due to engineering works. Use Hanger Lane on the Central Line instead.

I invited a friend to come along on Sunday and he's replied as follows:
"I would be interested in principle, but I can't see how the tournament would work if all proceeds go to charity. What is the incentive to play correctly when it doesn't matter if you're not going to win anything anyway?"
I said that I presumed there would still be a prize pool to play for, and that the 'proceeds' would be the profit that would usually go to the club, the sponsorship and donations etc. Can someone confirm this please?
