Fairly obvious that this story was waiting to be dropped to the pres to try and push any reall "bad news" about labour into the background - hence why it came out today, to try and deflect attention for charles clarke.

Unfortunately for labour, the press are getting wise to them.

But I feel sorrier for her that she has been dragged into all the business because of the doings of her hubby. It is humiliating enough for anyone whose partner is unfaithful to them, but for it to be as public as it is in this case, must be horrific.

As horrific as people slating her husband beacause of his looks ??

personal insults about someones appearance are hurtful and immature.

Slate the blokes morals and lack of restraint by all means, but to abuse him because he doesnt look attractive to you shows a distinct lack of class IMHO.

As for Prescott, the thing that strikes me about this story is how sad his wife must feel after being told that someone you have loved and shared so much time with over the years has cheated on you.
