Driving test - the RESULT
«

just got back from my driving test
Im not a nervous person and have never been affected by nerves at all.I played in front of 2,000 people at football in a FA cup game and it never bothered me , but i literally was shitting bricks at the thought of this test. I only got 6 minor faults which isn't to bad as you can have a maximum of 14 and still pass.
Unfortunetely I also got 2 major faults. 2 stupid things which I am usually good at, just passed me by and I basically forgot. I joined the A14 motorway on a 2 laned slip road and because there was nothing behind me (no other car could be seen in my mirror) I stayed in the right hand land, and then merged succesfully into the motorway. Apparently even if the slip road is clear you have to stay in the left hand land before merging. Fail 1
The other 1 was just silly. I basically didnt look out my back window when reversing on my 3 point turn. Comedy error.
So gutted to not pass - but the baby is due in only 7 days so there are more important things to worry about I suppose.
Oh well

that will get you a red card mate, Tikay is only 414 !!!
Bad luck with the test, but once the new addition to the family arrives you will have no time to reflect on failing your driving test ....
good luck with everything.

Bad luck - but good luck for next time!
My suggestion - take your test after you've been up all night once the baby has arrived - you wont care about the test you'll be so nackered and nerves wont get a look in. I took my 3rd test the day after my grandma died - my Dad made me go - and I really couldn't give a toss - flew through it where as before I could hardly open the car door for shaking.
And when you do pass you dont have to worry because the missus will be back seat driving anyway!

Unlucky Smithy, but 1 down only 1 more to go (or maybe 2, 3, 4, etc.)
You WILL pass eventually though.
Good luck with the wee bairn too.

That's the spirit Smithy.
I failed my mock exam horribly but was perfect on the day. Just keep going until you pass.
You're heads-up and a monster chip leader, just relax, concentrate and you'll pass/win.

guess you had a lot on your mind, with only seven days to go before the birth.....my tip is next time, before you set off for your test, take a good long look at the new babe....and remember your're doing it all for them.
you'll sail through.
